German-born songwriter, guitarist, and producer Thomm Jutz wrote the bluegrass hits “Around the Corner” (Terry Baucom & the Dukes of Drive), “Carolina Wind” (Irene Kelley), “Going Back to Bristol” (Shawn Camp), and songs recorded by Nanci Griffith, John Prine, and Kim Richey, among others. Tim Stafford, a member of bluegrass band Blue Highway, was named the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Songwriter of the Year in 2014 and 2017. He wrote “Money in the Bank” (Lonesome River Band), “Snapshots and Souvenirs” (Mountain Heart), “Through the Window of a Train” (Blue Highway), and songs recorded by Alecia Nugent, Larry Sparks, and Dan Tyminski.
